No. 14 is a very interesting hole, challenging players—of different abilities—in different ways. The bunker we added is intended to provide a clear directional aiming point for most players. We also extended the fairway, to the bunker, in order to capture the form, and challenge the player to get as close as possible which provides the best angle in. Unfortunately, for the higher handicap player, the water really comes into play on their second shot… with only a spit of fairway offered to land the ball. All players must contend with the corner pinning options on 14. The proper angle into the green is critical. A 2 iron is the smart play here.
