Sterling Farms golfers are really good at golf...and on this past Saturday, June 13th, nothing was left in the bag on that sensational day! I wanted to be out there duffing it too, and while it just wasn't in my cards, I have saw some some fine players and people that dat. I tried to 'grab' some of them my camera. Some were scratch golfers, some weren't. You see... in the end... it isn't how good, or bad, anyone is... just that we all love, and play, the game. In that respect, we are all 'hot shots', and so, here is where we share the limelight. Check back often, as I'll update this gallery throughout the month. Read More
Springtime at Sterling, is always a stunner, especially just outside the Pro Shop, where Gilberto, Gus, and course superintendent Mike Golden's team work extra hard to buff things out for all to see. With all of the masks, rules, and safety precautions, what a pleasure to behold, and a tad cheerier too! Read More

We Americans are a reslilient people (especially Sterling Farms Golfers!). "In an attempt to take Baltimore, the British attacked Fort McHenry, which protected the harbor. Bombs were soon bursting in air, rockets were glaring, and all in all it was a moment of great historical interest. During the bombardment, a young lawyer named Francis Off Key [sic] wrote 'The Star-Spangled Banner', and when, by the dawn's early light, the British heard it sung, they fled in terror." − Richard Armour. Let us all unite, and bid farewell to COVID-19. Read More

From the desk of Paul grillo, executive director, Stamford Golf Authority

Welcome to Sterling Farms Golfer. Over the past five decades, Sterling Farms has evolved into one of the premiere golf destinations anywhere in the region. We continually strive to maintain, if not exceed, that distinction, and know we owe it all to our Stamford families, friends and neighbors, as well as our patrons like you. Now is the best time of the year to play our spectacular 18 hole championship golf course. Our Golf Course Superintendent, Mike Golden, and his whole team, are leaders in the world of greenkeeping, and we are very proud of the quality of their hard work. I think you'll find our putting greens, fairways, tees, roughs—and every landscape feature here—reflects their devotion and hard work. It is spectacular. Sterling Farms is home to the area's top driving range facility. You won't find a better value, or level of quality, anywhere! We take great pride and joy serving you, and our local community. On behalf of all of us here at Sterling Farms, welcome and thank you!
