On Saturday, June 13th, I was out on the course and caught these great putting taking advantage of the smooth, racy putting surfaces. Sterling Farms has greens that, by some standards (in Scotland), might be called tame, only when we add in golf course superintendent (extraordinaire) Mike Golden, to the equation, it becomes crystal-clear that what seems straight, isn’t! The putting at Sterling Farms rivals that of any fine country club, or championship venue. Mike personally measures their moisture content, rolls them, does it all, and is a better golfer than most of us to boot! Here are just a few Sterling Farms golfers, this month, who were trying to best the putting greens. Check back often, as I’ll update this gallery all of June.
